About Electrical Resources Inc.
Established in 1975, Electrical Resources, Inc., a professional electrical estimating company, continues to provide solutions for electrical contractors. In 1976, we developed estimating software to allow contractors to bid more work in less time. This also benefited the estimating division of Electrical Resources.
Since 1975, the estimating division of Electrical Resources has prepared over 33,000 estimates. The estimates ranged from residential to heavy industrial and one-of-a-kind projects never to be duplicated. The projects’ diversity led to Electrical Resources compiling the largest and most comprehensive electrical estimating database in the industry.
In 1998, Electrical Resources realized that bid times were getting shorter and branch circuits were being left off the plans. After years or research and study of branch circuit worksheets on more than 20,000 commercial projects, Electrical Resources developed and introduced AutoBranch.
Whether it’s a $50,000 job or a $5,000,000 job, AutoBranch will calculate and produce a complete bill of material of branch circuit conduit, wire, fittings, and supports for light fixtures, receptacles,line and low volt switches, occupancy sensors, 0-10v controlled light fixtures, light fixtures with integral back-up battery and light fixtures on night light circuits in seconds with one click of the mouse. Another click will convert the hard wiring to MC or HCF cable.
AutoBranch will also calculate Romex wiring for your residential projects. And we took it further by creating Auto Fire Alarm that will calculate conduit, wire fittings and supports for Fire Alarm systems and Auto Duct Bank that will calculate conduit, spacers, counterpoise, re-bar, dye, excavation and cubic yards of concrete for duct banks.
